What products do Swindon Door Services stock?
Being independent, we are free to choose only the very best doors and accessories which confirm to all current safety and quality criteria. We personally research all our doors suppliers and, in most cases, we have tried and tested their products.
Do you offer guarantees?
All products are guaranteed by the relevant manufacturer. Swindon Door Services follows up manufacturer's guarantees with an additional installation guarantee.
Are all doors supplied and installed, or can I install it myself?
As well as our supply and installation service, we are able to supply all makes of garage doors, electric operators and replacement parts on supply only, do-it-yourself basis. Electrical Operators are available from stock and new doors can be delivered within mainland UK within 10 - 14 days from receipt of order. GRP and Timber Doors can usually be delivered within 4 - 5 weeks.
How can I pay for my new door?
We accept all major Credit/Debit Cards Cash, Cheques and Cash.
Who will install my garage door?
All installations are undertaken by our own employed, factory-trained, fitters, who are constantly under going further training, thus ensuring all installations are of the highest standard.
How much should I spend on my garage door?
The cost of a garage door is determined by the following:
- Door size
- Style
- Finish - Steel, Timber, GRP, Sectional or Roller
- Extras - Windows and electric operation, additional security
- AGDS - The Association of Garage Door Specialists
- DHF - Door & Hardware Association
Obviously, a door built to a high specification, for example a GRP door, is more expensive than a Steel door. You should bear in mind, however, that as a GRP door of superior quality, and will require very little up-keep.
What size garage door do I need?
We are willing to visit your home and advise you accordingly as to which door size will be the very best for your opening, taking the framework and clearances into account. This survey & quotation is free of charge & you are under no obligation there after.
What material and finish should I choose!
The decision should be considered in the same way as the choice of design. All doors in the Swindon Door Services range are available in a variety of materials and finishes. The majority of doors we now install come complete with steel frame & low maintenance finishes in various colours & woodgrain effects.
What accessories are worth considering?
This is the final decision that you will need to make. Accessories can help add your own personal finishing touch to the garage door.
Electric option - probably the best accessory that you can choose, not only does it allow you to open and close your new garage door from the comfort of your car, it will add value to your home. Additionally, it will also encourage you to actually park your car in the garage overnight, saving it not only from the elements but also from the risk of theft.
Extra security - for added piece of mind, you may wish to consider additional security elements or additional weather strips & seals.
Are you fully insured?
We are insured from our vans and equipment right through to full public liability.
Will you be taking my old garage door away with you?
Yes, and we dispose of all old doors & frames in an environmentally friendly way.
